The Secret: Community of Musicians Creating Together

Our record label, Osprey Recording frequents open mics across San Diego, not only to listen for new talent, but Ilike to perform my originals in these settings.

While listening to the regulars of Winston’s Beach Club open mic, Osprey heard Bryon Curtis Stone deliver a great performance, and felt compelled to encourage him to never quit sharing his art, because he has real talent. This conversation eventually led to the collaboration, Law Of Attraction, released today between Conduit and Stone.

This collaboration also involved Matt Bozzone, current drummer for Todo Mundo, and those drums were recorded at Cape May Sound Laboratory, a private recording studio, owned by Ed Fletcher, a figure of the San Diego music community for over twenty years. This music truly was a community project and the live drums and percussion really bring the song to life making it a get up off your feet and dance kind of track.

This type of project is a great display of what passionate, hard-working, professional musicians can create when they work with one another doing what they love to do. The track is released on Sound Cloud
