Sailor Remembers Maritime Patrols of Black Line to Keep Shipping Lanes Open and Keep Uranium out of
Osprey Recording record label owner and lead singer of Trans_Conduit has found his voice in the San Diego music scene. Kevin Mankins lyrics lend to his experience in the service, his passion for the truth and his love for this country, especially in his latest track released today, Black Line.
Choir like vocals, synth solos, electronic guitar, live room sounding drums, contemporary classical piano put all together you get a collaborative electronic sound. This collaboration involved Mankins lifelong friend Mathew Seaton on acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and vocals, which Mankins compliments resulting in a beautifully sounding choral ensemble. Mankins also plays piano, harmonium, and bass while Christofer Welter “C- Money” plays synths. Also involved is Brian Dall, current drummer for Hailey Montgomery band, and those drums were recorded at the best sounding room in San Diego, Studio A at Signature Sound Studios. Lt. Col Oliver North’s voice is also featured in the recording from his Iran-Contra hearings congressional testimony in 1987.
The track is released by Osprey Recording through SoundCloud.
